I need to display more detailed rich descriptions for fields, so stock help system with click and display help panel is not gonna work for me. So i removed it from LabelControl and replaced with popup javascript tooltip. However I found out that not all labels with help are based on LabelControl. So I came to LabelPropertyControl, but I can't get help text the same way as LabelControl does. 

On LabelControl i just added:

However LabelPropertyControl doesn't work with HelpText directly it only sets attribute

How can I retrieve help text from code if i know resource key but not file its in?

I'm actually editing core controls to achieve this. I should make myself more clear next time. I just replaced behavior where user had to click on little blue help button to get field help. Now he only has to hover over icon and I can display JS tooltip which is more versatile and won't move with layout as panel does. DNN uses more controls to display labels with help. One I managed to easily update "controls/LabelControl.ascx" and another "\DotNetNuke\Library\UI\WebControls\PropertyEditor\PropertyLabelControl.vb" ... I had problem with PropertyLabelControl as it doesn't work with strings directly. Its managed somewhere else based on attributes. But I managed to solve it by assigning attribute and retrieve HelpText during Render(..) event. 

Problem solved.
