Ok, one more... I am customizing the SL Not Installed page based on the Installation experience Whitepaper) - it does a whole lot of JS checks and hides/shows different HTML if SL is installed/notinstalled/wrong version etc.

However, it needs the Silverlight.js file to be present. I got around it by calling it in the language string, but this is a bit hacky - is there any reason why you left this and the error handling that is in the Visual Studio test harness page, out?

You can see my custom SL Not Installed page on my poker chip calculator page (disable your SL plugin in your browser)  - it's based on the examples in the whitepaper, but it cannot handle incorrect versions and the other scenarios defined).

The main reasoon was that I didn't like to ship code with the module that was not mine code.

However in most cases the js is not needed. At least if you update the install message to the latest release.

Maybe I should put it in to next release, whenever I get it fixed.

Hi Jan,

Does the module pass through the Culture from the browser as a param to the Silverlight app? I am doing localization and I want it to pick up the browser Culture thread.

No not by default, but you can pass any parameter you like as long as your silverlight app take care of it..
