Hello,

We have a file upload feature in one of our websites developed in ASP.NET and C#.NET. We would like to scan the files for viruses automatically before they are being uploaded into our server. We are using AVG server edition on our server. How can we enable this feature. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Satish Ch.

We did something similar using Sophos as it comes with an interface called SAVI which is COM enabled. We actually used it in ASP but it would be easy to use in .NET. I think you can sign up with Sophos as a developer and get the SAVI interface or install one of their desktop products and it comes with it. You would need a subscription with them to receive AV updates though.
