Hi

I'm developing a module which requires both server- and client-side interaction with a DIV. The problem is that the ID generated by DNN is unreliable and changes from build to build.

Is there any way to determine what the ID will be, or to force a particular ID?

Thanks, Mark

For any ASP.Net Control or WebControl, the ClientID property returns the correct id by which the control may be referred in your client-side code.

Hi

Thanks for your reply.

Trouble is, if I remove the ID and replace it with a ClientID, the control is no longer available in my code-behind. Do I need to do a FindControl or something like that?

Not to worry, I've worked this out now!

Thanks, Mark
