Hi,

I'm hoping this is a quick question about the new Content Staging features of DNN Enterprise.

In theContent Staging and Content Localization Demonstration webinar, Shaun Walker says toward the end that Content Staging only works for Text/HTML modules. However, this description of Content Staging says that IPortable is all  you need.

I'm hoping that Shaun was only talking about the default behavior, and that you can use Content Staging to puch updates for any IPortable module. Does anyone know if this is correct?

Thanks,
-Andrew

I have an e-mail in with the person that contacted me after I watched the webinar. However, I didn't think this was really a sales question.

This forum is about developing modules, and I need to understand how to design my module so that it will be compatible with the different DNN editions. In particular, I want my module to work with Content Staging.

AFAIK there is no public documentation for Content Staging. it is based on a couple of GUID columns, added to a number of core tables /(even blowing up PE database) and using iPortable for transferring module content - but there will be limits, e.g. to prevent user comments and rating being overwritten on the target installation.
