Hi ,

I used to develop custom module inside DNN Portal. But now i need to develop some custom modules  for the existing DNN Project .Is there a way to develop custom module outside DNN and give it to them as a package .Then they convert it into DNN Module (like we can develop  user control then convert it into web part for share point).please any help or guidelines?

Regards
Anand

I don't think this is a useful approach, because the module cannot make use of the DNN framework - or you have to rewrite a lot of code during conversion.

if you develop a module on your local dev server, you may use "create package" wizard in Host extensions to create an installation package from it.

You can use NANT tool to create DNN package, too.
