You can also used MSBuild and MSBuild.CommunityTasks to create your packages on building your projects on your develope instance.  I used it on my free module you can look at as a sample on dnnshoutcaststats.codeplex.com.  I build there a install, source and complete package that incl. both packages.

Where is the "create Package' option in DNN 5.6?    Is it only in the Professional edition and above?

I can't find it under host/extentions or Module Definitions on my dev system (running the community edition), eitther before or after I select the appropriate module I want to create the package for.  Mitchel Sellers book discusses the DotNetNuke-Generated Packages but I don't have a Create Package option there either.

I am at the stage where I need create packages and test them in a test environment but am having problems figuring out how to create them.   The modules I am creating are for in-house use only, so I could use the manual method but I'd prefer to automate it if possible.

Thanks in advance,
Lou
