I'm trying to make an Ajax AdRotator that will rotate through a directory filled with images and display each image without any user event. So far I've got a user control that I've installed as a module. I'm trying to use the script manager as I keep getting errors that say, "Only one script manager is allowed..."  So I know that I need to use the proxy. How do I set the proxy up correctly to use the script manager on the parent form so that I can get my ajax panel to update asynchronously? I've searched on this for about 4 days and have nothing.

Also, if someone knows of a module that does this already please share. I don't want to have to write this if it's out there already.

FYI if a module is marked as supporting partial rendering (either via the dnn file or via the host->module definitions) a scriptmanager is automatically injected. It's likely your page has a script manager so you can reuse that - see http://adefwebserver.com/dotnetnukehelp/Misc/Dotnetnuke_AJAX_webservices.htm . There is a wiki article on some image rotation options - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/tabid/1409/Page/Create-an-image-rotator-slideshow/Default.aspx
