Hi,
this is a more general question on module development. When I use a third-party library (dll) for a module, what is the best practice for packaging? The problem is: I use it on module A, and the install process writes it to the bin-Folder. Now, someone else uses the same library for module B. Someone installs both modules, but then removes one of these, and the library will be removed as well, therefore the other module is not working anymore.
Is there a solution for this?

If you are using a version 5 dnn manifest file when packaging your module, proper use of the Assembly component to register your assemblies will take care of the versioning and multiple modules having a dependency on the same assembly:
