I am building an module using MVP.  I am trying to use the 'LocalizeString' method on the ModulePresenter, however I found the value of LocalResourceFile = 'view' in the presenter.  I expect it to be the same as the resource for the view control.  My View and the view .ascx both have the correct LocalResourceFile.  I just cannot localize strings from the Presenter using the 'LocalizeString()' method.  Does the Presenter use a different resource file than the View?



To work around this I added a 'LocalizeString()' method to my View and the Presenter can use it to localize strings.

        public string LocalizeString(string key)
        {
            return Localization.GetString(key, LocalResourceFile);
        }
