In Tags.ascx below coding is there...

'Dim SearchModule As ModuleInfo = objModules.GetModuleByDefinition(PortalSettings.PortalId, "Search Results")

'If SearchModule Is Nothing Then

' Exit Sub

'Else

'searchTabId = SearchModule.TabID

'End If

In my website I want to see Tags on my page. If I comment this coding I am able to see tags on my page.

If I uncomment it I am not seeing tags on my page.

Anyone can please help me in this regards. Why we are using searchmodule and why it always returns 0?

Thanks,
Reenal

try to get it working first - delete search results module, clear the recycle bin and place it again on the search results page. Make sure, the scheduler job for indexing is running, and if necessary, clar the search table and re-index.

In troubleshooting the issue with the Search Results module I would also go to the Host-->Extensions page to check the following:

1. Does the Search Results module appear in the list of installed extensionsz?
2. If so does the last column in the installed extensions display show that it is "In Use"? If so, it has been placed on a site page (somewhere)
3. Open the Search Result extension for editiing (click on the edit pencil). About half way down there should be a "Friendly Name" field. Has it been changed from its default "Search Results"? If so, that would cause the conditional code you commented out to return false.
