How do I get the same style of Field Validation that are present in DNN pages?

ie: The red boarder on the left side of a field with the yellow background and the legend at the top right

Its all part of the Forms patterns introduced in 6.0, so you just need to use the correct CSS and then pair it with standard asp.net validator - below is an example
