I am trying to get the RAD Editor content as RTF format... Is that possible?

I tried [RADEditorObject].RichText.Text, but that doesn't format the content in RTF format.

My module needs to save the content as an RTF file, which will later be viewed in Word or WordPad on a uses local machine.

Help!  Thanks!

P.S. Forgive me if this isn't the right forum, I didn't know which other forum I should post to.

all richtext editor providers for DNN produce HTML code only, i.e. I am not aware of any of it producing RTF formatted code as well.

Well, actually I found that one of the features of the Telerik RAD Editor is an ExportToRTF() method.  Since the DNN derived version of the RADEditor doesn't expose the RADEditor directly, I have to use a recursive algorithm to retrieve the control reference in order to expose and use the ExportToRTF() method. Unfortunately, it crashes when used with the following error:

A critical error has occurred. The type or namespace name 'SecurityRulesAttribute' does not exist in the namespace 'System.Security' (are you missing an assembly reference?)

The only thing I can think is that the DNN Derived RADEditor version supplied to us by DNN, is as stated, "missing an assembly reference?"

AFAIK DNN provider doe not miss an assembly reference, but for your purpose, you might need a Telerik Development License, to expose additional features of the control.

Yeah I was wondering about that. I was thinking that it might be that the license that DNN has doesn't include that feature, since I could not figure out what is missing.  Strangely though, the ExportToPDF() function works fine. I guess PDF rights and RTF rights are significantly different.
