I'm very new to DNN. I'm working on something similar to this. I already have my code (in C#). My question is where should this code live in order to run it? I'm using Microsoft Visual Studio. Do I have to do something with web.config file? or create a asp.NET page for it ?? I hope this makes sense. I'm trying to create a page with code because I want to pull data from my existing database and put it in the html content (contentPane). My database is pretty big so I don't want to do cut and paste.

Hi

You can place your custom module in Content Pane of a page which is going to be created dynamically from code. Also you can use object of htmltext module in your custom module in order to populate data from your existing database.

Thanks
