Getting up to speed on DNN (using version 6.1.3) and its use of the Telerik controls and how to get them to co-exist w/ the Microsoft AjaxControlToolkit 4.0.

We're trying to integrate a few pages into DNN that use the AjaxControlToolkit. I've converted the pages into .ascx controls and successfully added them as modules.

If I leave the ToolkitScriptManager in the code, I get the error:
"A critical error has occurred. Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

If I remove the ToolkitScriptManager though, then the AJAX controls don't work.

Can somebody please give us the latest scoop on this:
1. CAN the AjaxControlToolkit 4.0 be used?
2. If so, what needs to be done?

If it helps, here's a code sample of a simplified test control:
...
<%@ Register Tagprefix="ajt" Namespace="AjaxControlToolkit" Assembly="AjaxControlToolkit" %>
...
<%--<ajt:ToolkitScriptManager ID="ToolkitScriptManager1" runat="server">
</ajt:ToolkitScriptManager>--%>
<asp:Panel ID="pnlHeader1" runat="server" CssClass="cpHeader" Width="250px">
  <asp:Label ID="lblHeader1" runat="server" />
</asp:Panel>
<asp:Panel ID="pnlBody1" runat="server" CssClass="cpBody" Width="250">
  Lorem ipsum for pnlBody1.
</asp:Panel>
<ajt:CollapsiblePanelExtender ID="cp1" runat="server" TargetControlID="pnlBody1"
  CollapseControlID="pnlHeader1" ExpandControlID="pnlHeader1" Collapsed="false" TextLabelID="lblHeader1"
  CollapsedText="Show Filter..." ExpandedText="Hide Filter.." CollapsedSize="0">
</ajt:CollapsiblePanelExtender>

Build ASP.Net websites fast is a joke because you cannot build anything unless you buy the stuff from the DNN store .... no support what so ever when it comes to using Microsoft components and DNN framework
