Hi,

I am implementing a custom module. I have installed it as an extension. However, when I chose it from avaiuable modules and click "Add module" button - nothing happens. What do I have to implement for module to be added to page? What kind of action?

Best

Bartosz

please go to Host > Extensions into details of your module and make sure you have a default view control associated with your module definition.

Well,thanks for help but I looked there and I can't find "default" control option. I created business controller class which implements method

public MyModuleInfo GetMyModule(int ModuleId, int ItemId)
        {

            return (MyModuleInfo)CBO.FillObject(DataProvider.Instance().GetMyModule(ModuleId, ItemId), typeof(MyModuleInfo));

        }

Though that this method is responsible for adding module to page, but now I am not sure, and I didn't find the docs where it is stated how to develop business controller class.

I am implementing on DNN 6.x.

I think I found it. The point was that I do not specify for default control <controlKey> value in .dnn file. Weird. Never noticed it in documentation. I think it would be fine if DNN would publish DTD schema for .dnn files.
