I just spent about 20 minutes trying to find a simple Getting started with DNN 7 module development guide to no avail.

Starting from the home page, I even had a difficult time finding the forum.

For being the maker of Content Management systems and $12,000 social systems, one would think that DNN could at least layout a useful website. At this point, it's a bunch of really pretty pages that say nothing of value. Take the for example the 1st page one comes across when wanting to learn about module development. You can find it under Platform-->Build. I get there, I see the Visual Studio option which is of interest to  only to find, that's the end of the road and no further information is linked. Great, now I know that I can develop modules in Visual Studio but where is the content?

Seriously though, are people other than DNN staff still developing and interacting. Does DNN still desire 3rd party development at a community level? Where is the info? If folks have moved on to other more open solutions, I would very much appreciate knowing what platform everyone took off to.

The new site design is a disaster. Looks like they have prioritized form over function. Forum is impossible to find along with the other useful community resources. I don't suspect conspiracy though. It's just a failed ui design. Hope they will fix it soon. 

Lars, if you are looking for answers in the community then that is also the route you follow in the menu. From there you will find the forum. The site is not 'that' bad, it is only different and new!
