Hello

I develepod a module DNNDB. There are two files (Default.ascx, Default.ascx.cs) in my solution, see below.
How can I define which file will be loaded in DNN?
Why does is nothing to see on this module/page?

<%@ Control Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeBehind="Default.ascx.cs" Inherits="Christoc.Modules.DNNDB.Default" %>
<asp:DataList ID="dl_UserLastName" runat="server" >
<HeaderTemplate></HeaderTemplate>
<ItemTemplate>
<tr>
<td class="normal" width="80">Name</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td class="backgroundcolor" width="80"><%#Container.DataItem("Username")%></td>
</tr>
<tr><td>&nbsp;</td></tr>
</ItemTemplate>
</asp:DataList>

namespace Christoc.Modules.DNNDB{
public partial class Default : System.Web.UI.Page{
protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e){
GetUsername();}
public Username GetUsername() {
Username u;
var conString = System.Configuration.ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings["SiteSqlServer"];
string strConnString = conString.ConnectionString;
SqlConnection con = new SqlConnection(strConnString);
con.Open();
string sqlstr = "Select Username From Users where UserID = 1";
using (IDataContext ctx = DataContext.Instance()) {
var UserLastName = ctx.ExecuteQuery<Username>(System.Data.CommandType.Text, string.Format(sqlstr)).ToList();
dl_UserLastName.DataSource = UserLastName;
dl_UserLastName.DataBind();
if (UserLastName.Any()) {
u = UserLastName[0];
}else
return null;
}
return u;
}
}
}

Thanks Miller

DNN users a system of user controls (ascx files), not aspx files - i recommend you have a look at http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/page/... to get a good understanding of the architecture and how you plug in your own custom code
