So what is the deal with several Admin modules missing from the SRC version of DNN? Are the replaced/depreciated or what? How come they were in the latest DNN 8 Beta but not in  the final version? I spent an hour thinking my installation was somehow faulty until I found out that they seem to have been removed on purpose by accident as I resorted to "Site Manager" as a last attempt to get it working again and found:

"This template has the following modules that are not installed

DDR Menu
Configuration Manager
Message Center
Dashboard
Digital Asset Management
Google Analytics
Html Editor Management
HTML
Journal
Member Directory
Razor Host
Social Groups
Taxonomy Manager
Themes"

Where can I find more info about this?

Thanks.

For anyone having the same problem, you can find the modules in the install version if you need them. Maybe somewhere on the web as well?

Wondering if the perhaps can due do debug mode vs release mode, ie that  modules are only installed in the later?
