If I have 2 modules(A & B).  Module A is a crud module for a table. How does module B access the data from Module A?

If someone can point me in the right direction that would be great.

I don't actually understand the exact needs, but if you just want to access the same data just use the same info objects and controller methods to access them.

If you need some kind of "communication" between the two modules (say: if anything changes in module A and that change should be reflected in module B) then there is a mechanism called IMC (Inter Module Communication): http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/imc

Happy DNNing!

I took a look at IMC, but I don't think that is what I'm looking for.  I am ready to get started, but I'm still struggling with data access.  I will try to explain a little better...

I have a website called batakedown.com that I am trying to convert into DNN.  It has numerous pages and accesses numerous common tables.  I'm not sure the best method to convert my site.  Can someone point me in the right direction?

you may create a library module and use it as an API in your other modules.
