I've a custom module developed myself. In event log I can see a lot of exception about ImageChallenge.captcha.aspx but in my module I've not used anywhere the captcha control!!!

How is it possible?

Debugging the module and stepping or breaking before that line should give you some insight.

Joe, very thanks for your suggestion but this exceptions don't occurs every time the page is loaded, the page have a lot of code and in the log I can't understand where it exactly occurs.
In debug all work fine and in production website all work fine also, only looking at event log I can see randomly a lot of this exceptions!

I've more information about this exception, the most important is that it is fired when is called the ImageChallenge.captcha.aspx control on every page of my dnn 7.4.2 website but also www.dnnsiftware.com is affected to this bug!!!

The captcha is handled on webconfig and when it is called the dnn generate the captcha control. The problem is that for some unknow reason bot crawler call it without params and dnn show blank page and log an exception! You can reproduce this exception on every dnn installation simply opening the url yourdnnurl/ImageChallenge.captcha.aspx

Now I understand where come out this exception I'm very surprised to see that also DNN8 and DNN9 are affected to this problem!
