I am building a custom module based on Chris Hammonds templates. I am using the DAL2 Compiled Module template and building the "To Do" list as is straight from the template. The module creates an "Item" table for the list of items. However when I delete the module and empty the recycle bin the associated records remain in the table.

What is the process (code) I need to add in order to have the "items" associated with that deleted module removed from the database if the module is emptied from the recycle bin?

Any help and/or examples would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thank You

Are you just deleting the module from a page? Not uninstalling the module from the Extensions page?

I don't think there is a way to do that in DNN, removing "content" from a module upon deletion of the module from a page. I've never done that with any of my modules.

Yes, I'm just deleting the module from a page then emptying the recycle bin. I have seen other modules where their data is removed from their tables when the module is removed from the recycle bin all based on the moduleid I assume.

No. I'm not talking about removing the content when the module is deleted from the page, but when it is removed from the recycle bin.

To me that's the same thing, still no standard process around that in DNN, or automated way to fire off an event that I know of.
