I'm building a custom module. I'll have 3 TextEditors(the one build into DNN by default) on one screen. I'd like 2 of them to have, at most, 1 tool bar. The 3rd will need to keep all tool bars.

Can this be done via code and if so, how? I haven't been able to find documentation on this yet.

Probably your .ascx file should be something like this:

<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="TextEditor" Src="~/controls/TextEditor.ascx" %>

<
dnn:TextEditor runat="server" id="tbFirst" DefaultMode="BASIC"></dnn:TextEditor>
<dnn:TextEditor runat="server" id="tbSecond" DefaultMode="BASIC"></dnn:TextEditor>
<dnn:TextEditor runat="server" id="tbThird"></dnn:TextEditor>

DefaultMode="Basic" turns off toolbar for TextEditor. So tbFirst and tbSecond will be without toolbars and tbThird with toolbar.

Hope this helps.

This is what I am using currently... Is there a way to show 1 tool bar and keep the WYSIWYG editor via code? (Again, I would like 2 controls this way, and the 3rd to have all toolbars.)

I need the WYSIWYG part for all of them.
