I am relatively new to DNN, C# and ASP.Net programming. I am working on a website that will have SSL and non SSL pages.  It will have SSL and non SSL scheduled worker processes.  I need help with the following:

1) I read somewhere that in coding a worker process you need to be careful about multiple copies running.  What copies might be running?  One for SSL and one for non-SSL?  How do I detect this?  What issues should I be aware of?

2) Does having a site that has some SSL pages and some non-SSL have two copies of DNN or two copies of something running?  Can you explain this?

2) If I code a worker process that needs to send a message to (say PayPal) in SSL, what do I need to do (in the code) to have it be sent SSL?

Thanks for your assistance,
Paul
