I'm creating a DNN provider that allows automatically SignIn Active Directory users, I'm using Windows Authentication.
And there is an issue when I auto SignIn as a user marked as a DNN host. All the WebAPI methods decorated by attributes: [RequireHost], [DnnAuthorize]  fails. I'm getting the:
HTTP code 302 (loop),
System.Web.HttpException (0x80004005): Server cannot set status after HTTP headers have been sent.

There is no problems with methods decorated by: [AllowAnonymous], [ValidateAntiForgeryToken]
There is no problem when I SignIn using Forms Authentication.

is there any reason you're not using the active directory authentication provider (http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/page/... )? It will ensure the user is logged in and associated with a DNN user, so that all the operations that parse DNN user permissions (such as WebAPI) work seamlessly
