I am in big trouble. I created a javascript function to automaticly update a meeting date on our home page. Worked well until the meeting date passed for this month, now I guess there is an error and I can't get to the page to fix it. The only solution I can think of since I can not edit the page is to find where the module header is stored in the site database. I can find the module text, but not the header. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Is there a way, in administrator mode, to work on a page without the events firing?

Thanks in advance.

Depending on the DotNetNuke version it would be either the Modules or TabModules table. Pre-DNN 5.05.00 in the Modules table and 5.05.00 and above in TabModules table. For a few versions starting with 5.03.00, AFAIR, up through 5.04.04, this was being written into the Footer and Header columns of both tables.

Thank you. I found the JavaScript in the header field and removed it. The weird thing is that the page is still misbehaving. Could it be that it is cached and not recreating itself?

It could be cached, I would look at the HTML source of the page and see if you still see the javascript being injected somewhere.

Thank you Chris. The problem I am having, I think, is that I put a javascript routine in a text module header that is supposed to inject a meeting date which is always the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Worked fine until the meeting date passed and now the page opens, but the routine then fires and the page goes blank, so I can't see any html. If FireFox I see the date though. Can't get to the page in Admin mode either. So my assumption was I could find the header in the database and remove it there. Did that but the script is still running. Must be a ghost. Any thoughts on how to recover this would be appreciated. If all else fails I guess I delete the page and rebuild. It would be nice if there were somewhere to open the page with no events firing.
