Hi,

There are some Stored Procedures that uses Strings as column literals (GetSiteLog1, GetSiteLog2, ..., GetPortalByAlias, etc.) When you try to migrate the database to Windows Azure with a tool like RedGate SQL Compare 9, this issue can't be resolved automatically, so I need to modify them every time. I've a script that correct them in one step, but perhaps this will have problems with upgrades on DNN.

The fix is very simple, replace the single quote by brackets ('Column name' by [Column name]). Is possible that DNN Core Team fix this Store Procedures in future releases?

Thanks in advance,

David Rodriguez

we're aware of the sql changes, Joe touched on this briefly on his blog at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryId/2959/DotNetNuke-and-Windows-Azure-Understanding-Azure.aspx - I believe they're scheduled for 6.0
