I currently have a DNN site running under IIS on my local machine until it is ready for deployment. Today, I was working on a single page on my site (working with contact forms and scripts) and everything seemed fine. About 2 hours later I tried connecting back to the site to work on it some more and the DNN installation page came up. I disabled the auto installation so now it is just saying This Site is Currently Unavailable - Please Check Back Later.

Since I was only really working with one page, I decided I would go into the DB and delete that page I was working on hoping this would fix it. The site still won't load... any suggestions?

ps I'm using DNN 6x, and I also have a few other sites still working fine on my local machine, so it's not my IIS

please check database size, maybe the transaction log is full.

Thank you for the reply. I checked the database size and it did indeed seem to run low on space. I went ahead and went to Properties -> Files and increased the size of it as well as the log. It doesn't seem to have fixed it. Where exactly do you go to clear the transaction log? (Relatively new to working with databases).

Thanks a lot

to truncate transaction log, make sure, the database is not in use and backup the database with truncate log turned on. You might need to restore a previous backup, if your database got corrupted.

Still doesn't seem to be working. Which Recovery Model is recommended? Full or Simple? I'm just at a loss as to how this occurred out of nowhere without any significant changes to the site. Thanks for your help though
