The assemblies used in this extension, reference a higher version of DNN then the dependency “CoreVe

Hi,

I am working with custom Skin theme and the above error is thrown when trying to verify the install.zip file. I have made changes to the manifest file and set Core Version to be 08.00.00 and still the error shows up. What is that we need to check for? How should I check for version of the assemblies?

most likely you are using an older DNN version than requested by the skin.

although "Core Version" could also refer to .Net Framework, if you are running DNN 8, you need to have ASP.Net 4.5.1 or later installed.

Thank you for your response, I was able to fix the issue by playing with a few versions of the Core DNN.
