Thanks, Brandon!

At least I know that my portal is not going South... I won't hide the subject for now :)

Thanks again,

Val

And...  If the subject is hidden, and changed to a numeric value - no subject is displayed in the email sent at all...

Brandon Val,

I have looked all over at the link you provided. It appears that the Issue ID that is in that link has been removed. Is there anywhere else that I can find the workaround for the Feedback Module error, "DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Input string was not in a correct format."? It is driving me crazy. I have tried making my category and subject values numeric, but I am still getting the error.

Issues for individual DotNetNuke module projects are no longer tracked on Gemini but rather on the Issues tab of each project's home on CodePlex. (http://dnnfeedback.codeplex.com for the Feedback module).

I recall that being an issue when I was working on the new version 5.00.02 of the Feedback module which is currently undergoing final testing in the DotNetNuke release tracker. You may download the release candidate for 5.00.02 at http://dnnfeedback.codeplex.com/relea....

Regarding the issue in version 4.04.03, I was able to pull the comments for that issue from the archived Gemini issues but don't see a real work-around offered:

Verified in 4.4.3.

Reproduction requires one additional setting in addition to those outlined by Mike: the subject value must be a non-integral.

In Feedback.ascx.vb cmdSend_Click on or about line 330, when trSubject.Visible = false and trSubject2.Visible = false, the following line is executed:

Dim arryFeedbackItem As ArrayList = feedbackController.GetFeedbackList(True, PortalId, Convert.ToInt32(feedback_subject), FeedbackList.Type.Subject, False)

The Convert.ToInt32(feedback_subject) call will throw when the feedback_subject is non-integral.

** Update** The above error message is only received if a default subject is selected in settings and the subject list is set to "Subject Field Hidden". If the subject is set to "None Selected" the feedback is submitted correctly.
