Basically I want website visitors to be able to type in their e-mail address and hit "submit" or "subscribe" and then the website will send an e-mail with the appropriate address and subscribe code.

i.e. the email has to have the following attributes

To: stList@mydomain.com

From: the email address typed by the website visitor

Subject: can be whatever...

Body: subscribe maillist@mydomain.com

Is there an easy way to edit the feedback module to do this?

Thanks

Hi there

Without significant changes to the code, I very much doubt any of this would be possible.

I'ved used OpenWebStudio to create contact forms that have a check box to subscribe too, also with double opt-in to confirm the email address.  Here is a sample enquiry form configuration, and here is a sample double opt-in subscription form configuration.

Hope it helps!
