From what I understand, SMTP server settings are saved under "HOST SETTINGS" as described in this post. Therefore they are applied to all the portals in that DNN installation.

e.g. I have Portal A with domain portalA.com and Portal B with domain portalB.com, they will both need to use the same SMTP server. It is not possible to use "mail.portalA.com" for one portal and "mail.portalB.com" for another portal.

 The problem i have is i will need multiple portals in one installation and email addresses of portal administrators would be on different SMTP servers.

Am i right to say that it is not possible what i am trying to achieve under current environment. Probably the feedback module should allow to save SMTP settings at module level.

If there are any alternatives, I am dying to know.
