Is there a way to turn off the Email and Name fields in this module?

I dont want users being able to type in anything they want here. Besides if the user profile is setup correctly this information is already in the system.

Thanks in advance for your help.

The quick and easy way to do this (though I do not suggest it) is to make the fields disabled.  You must open and edit the Feedback.ascx file though.  This is found in the <root folder>/DesktopModules/Feedback folder.

Here is an example.  Notice the addition of the "Enabled" attribute.

    <tr valign="top">
        <td class="SubHead">
            <dnn:label id="plName" runat="server" controlname="txtName" suffix=":"></dnn:label>
            <asp:textbox id="txtName" runat="server" width="150px" cssclass="NormalTextBox" columns="35"
                maxlength="100" Enabled="false"></asp:textbox>
        </td>
    </tr>
    <tr valign="top" id="trSubject" runat="server">
        <td class="SubHead">
            <dnn:label id="plSubject" runat="server" controlname="txtSubject" suffix=":"></dnn:label>
            <asp:textbox id="txtSubject" runat="server" width="150px" cssclass="NormalTextBox" columns="35"
                maxlength="100" Enabled="false"></asp:textbox>
        </td>
    </tr>

Is there a way to make those fields not required? I am using DNN on an intranet site and so I don’t have to worry about “spam” feedback. I’d like to give the users the ability to send feedback anonymously.

See the previous posts that had a solution for turning those off. You can modify the solution slightly to have default values and turn off the validation in the ascx.
Other option you have is you could modify the codebehind and set the values manually and then remove the email and subject fields from the front end form...
