I am really curious to know this. My users are required to be authinitcated users to log in, but my users online always shows I have a number of "visitors" - sometimes more than the users that are currently logged in.

who are those visitors?

'Visitors' should display the number of unauthenticated users currently visiting the portal. The change suggested above should fix this.

I have enabled this option in the scheduler, however i am still getting online user issues for my site.  It seems that I am still seeing heaps of users when my actual statistics do not reflect the traffic the usersonline module is suggesting.  Do i need to alter a server or hosting setting?  my actual hits seem to have dropped also (only since the usersonline module starting showing more than it should have)  any suggestions to point me in the right direction, very appreciated!  Yes, major newbie here, sorry guys!

Can you also suggest an accurate statistics package so I can monitor where and when traffic occurs.

sorry for all the questions.
