Hello all,

I have a an Iframe in my DNN site, showing  an Login.aspx webpage on an external ASP.net application. This page shows the basic Login tool. Logging in does not work using the IFrame. It does show an error if you fill in the wrong password or username. But it does not tell you that you're logged in. It works perfectly if you go directly to the login.aspx page of that external site. Something in security settings of DNN or Iframe that causes the Login not to work?

thanks !

You have to allow a 3-rd party cookies to be saved on your comp. It's in the security settings of your browser. Your external ASP.NET application uses session cookie to save a login info. But the browser actually blocks it by default. So, when login info entered is incorrect, it appropriately responds. But when login is correct, it logs you on, but the app can't save a cookie, thus making it look like you are still not logged in. Check the logs and you'll see...
