Hi quys,

Is there a documentation for the iframe module?I need some basic input for the Querystring function.

How can I load a parameter page(for instance ../loadpage/aspx?userID=12),

where userID =12?

Unfortunately, I think that the only available documentation on this module is not free.  Lorraine Young has release the documentation here:

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryID/1646/Default.aspx

Unfortunately, you would have to pay $30 to answer this single question.  :(  This is one of the reasons why I think this method of supplying documentation was a poor decision.  This is not an economical use of your funds or time.

However, if you check the table of contents, you have good news. There are two sections in the documentation that cover the topic you are interested in.

Currently, we don't have documentation for the module. It is, however, a scheduled task for our team.

To address your specific question:

1. Install the module in the normal way

2. Click "Edit IFrame Settings" link (or select this option from module dropdown menu)

3. Specify the full url to the page you want to have inside the IFRAME.

4. If you want to pass parameters to that page, click "Add Querystring Parameter" link - it will show a line of controls - type a parameter name as you want it to be (in your case it would be userID) into a textbox and select the relevant value from the dropdown (in your case it would be User Id)

Update the settings is you are ready to go. Of course, width, height, etc. should be set as you'd like.

There is some documentation online absolutely free of charge http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Documentation/DotNetNukeOnlineHelp/tabid/787/Default.aspx

And we are working on a documentation that will be included with the module itself. :)

Apparently, the above link opens the root of the documentation, so here is the link to the instructions on setting up QueryString parameters. http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Documentation/DotNetNukeOnlineHelp/tabid/787/TID/2017/cid/206/Default.aspx

Thanks for providing the links.  I hadn't been to the online documentation in a while because for the longest time, it appeared stale.  That is great news to know that it is indeed updated!
