Any suggestions for making the auto-height feature work when your pointing to different server?

I have not been able to find anything reliable. At best, these tricks require access to the other site's code to embed a Flash movie or something similar...

We have access to both servers. We're just running an ASP app on a different server than the DNN installation. So the domain for the asp server is pointing to http://xx.mysite.com instead of http://www.mysite.com

Is there a work-around for this seemingly common situation?

Actually, yes.

You have to add the following javascript statement to your mother page :)

document.domain = 'yoursite.com';

This will effectively allow Javascript access to any of your subdomains. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc196989(VS.85).aspx
