Hi,

We have an iFrame module on a page that is only available to registered users. It displays an aspx page this is local our site. The aspx page also makes sure the user is logged in and redirects if they are not. However, if you copy the source location of the frame, then logout, then paste the frame location in the URL bar, I can still see the aspx page even though it checks to see if you are logged in. The aspx page is never firing, it appears to be pulled from cache, so the check to make sure the user is logged in never fires. How do I tell the iFrame module to not cache? I already set the cache time to "-1". I've also played with setting no-cache meta tags for the browser, however this does NOT work for all browsers. Any ideas?

The issue is not with IFrame - the cache settings you are mentioning are relevant to how IFrame works - shoudl it query DB for settings or shoudl it load them from cache (server cache, not client) if it's available.

What you are observing is a result of aspx page being cached inside user's browser. To prevent it, you need to add settings to the aspx page code.

Your aspx page needs to tell browsers not to cache it. Try strarting here: http://forums.asp.net/t/1013531.aspx
