I've been able to pass parameters to an embedded iframe in our DNN site successfully, however this only seems to work when i'm logged into the site. 

I really need to be able to do this for guests but it doesn't seem to work unless you're logged in.

Is this due to security reasons or am i doing something wrong?

 Oddly enough someone else is having exactly the same issue. There is something wrong with the settings you've used on your IFrame module.  You might be passing parameters that are user specific (like timezone, for example) or something of that type...
