we are trying to get a project completed. The problem we are facing is that we are pulling multi linked web pages created by MS VISIO 2010 - VML through the Iframe.

It works on some browsers ie Some IE 8 and some IE 9, but not all. On Chrome we can view some pages, but no links work and on other pages it doesnt view at all.

Does anybody have experience with Iframing Viso generated web pages.

Hmm... Sounds really weird... Do you have a url so I could try it out for myself?

Hi Vitaly

I would appreciate any feedback. We have the project running from a temp address

http://gvpm.co.za.temp.realssl.com

I have opened the Iframe pages for anomynous viewing. We are on opposite time zones so comms may be a bit cumbersome.

I can see "Business View' and "Organisational" pages with Google Chrome. But cannot navigate links on Visio page.

I cannot see anything on "SAWICO" page using anything. I have checked permissions and settings. They seem the same as the past pages. The Vision web pages are sitting in file structure within the portal.

Any pointers would be helpful.

Thanks

I think your links are incorrect - for example you are linking to ../..%5CProject_Management_View.htm - this means that this page should be one folder up from the BusinessView.htm and it has some invalid characters in it's name - ..%5

Check on these things first.

I see that, that is what it looks like in Chrome or some IEs. But on IE9 on the same PC the frames are working perfectly. We are able to navigate to other pages within the VISIO.

Wracking our heads. Could have something to do with VML generated pages in the frame. But my understanding is that Chrome and Firefox should be able to handle VML.
