I have an existing application that I want to load into the IFrame module.  This application accepts a username as a URL parameter.  Does anyone know how to pass the DNN username into the IFrame URL?

I believe the latest version of IFRAME, distributed with 3.3+/4.3+ release candidates, or available from http://www.dotnetnuke.com/DotNetNukeProjects/ModuleIFrame/Downloads/tabid/863/Default.aspx , supports passing the username to the IFRAME.

I understand it can be done but my question is how do I do it.  Would it be something along the lines of userid='<%= DNN.UserName %>'?

No, the latest IFRAME supports sending parameters. You need the latest version of dotnetnuke along with the latest version of IFRAME (if you look at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryID/417/Default.aspx you'll see Michael showing the additional parameters you can use, including username. At present the latest releases are only release candidates, so I'd recommend that you wait a few more days, as we're getting close to an offical release (though feel free to download 3.31 and play with the new capabilities)
