I am not sure if this is in common with the previous post, but when tring to provied a LOCALHOST url path you will recive an invailed URL error as well.

Yes, it is the same regular expression validator that is causing the problem.

OK that explanes that.

 

On a side note is there anyway to have a Dynamic Drop down in ASP display correctly in a IFRAME.

It seems to let you populate the first one but the page or the Frame doesnt seem to refreash in order to populate the second or third one.

I'm not sure I fully understand the scenario.  Do you mean like the "Selected Index Changed" event on the dropdown does not fire causing a page refresh?  Do you have a working example of the scenario you refer to so I can see it in action?

I guess I should have use the correct name for it "Dependent Dropdown" where as when you link two drop-downs (like selecting a City in one dropdown and only the matching zips codes showup in the next dropdown).


I have built some pages in dreamweaver that I would like to show up in the IFrame. The problem being is the results in the second dropdown are not populated when you select from the first one.

I hope this makes sinces to ya.
