Not sure if this is in the roadmap, but are there any plans to give link functionality to the image module.  I often find myself wanting to put an image in my skin and have it link to something else.

  Thanks,

Yes, there is. Make sure you check Gemini when looking for information on bugs and/or feature requests. We, of course, welcome any comments and suggestions on old and new issues, but Gemini is a great resource for these things. Referencing them in your posts will typically help us serve you better in the long run. With respect to the linking feature, I am working on it right now and should have it done soon. I can't say whether it will be in the next release or not, tho. If/when we get more information on this, we'll post something about it.

Great, on a side not, do you guys release core modules on a more frequent basis or only when the main framework is ready.

Thanks Again for the quick response.

Module releases are driven by the project lead. The project lead typically determines what features will come in the next release and then, as they are completed, the release is compiled together. Once everything for the release is complete, it's passed thru several review boards for things like security, localization, etc. Once these are complete, it'll be made public for download. There's no tie between the DNN core and modules. All the modules were separated from the core a number of months ago.

The biggest thing to remember is that we're all doing this in our spare time, so please be patient. We don't always have the time to pump releases out as fast as we may want to.
