I have a clean install of DNN 4.8 pointing to a local version of S!L 2005 Express on my XP SP2 machine.  I only have a few modules loaded, and all are DNN project modules, no 3rd party ones.

Whenever I try to add the Media module to a page, I get the following error which shows up where the module should be.:

Error: Test Media is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: An attempt to attach an auto-named database for file c:\inetpub\wwwroot\ccc316\App_Data\cc316.mdf failed. A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share.

Any help in this would be great.

Cheers

It was an issue with the connection string.  Once I got the connection working right, I re-installed DNN and it's working great.
