Hi,

I am trying to create a new page that copies an existing page on which I have a Media Module configured to show a Jpg.

I have tried creating my new page both from a page template (built from my source page with the ‘Include Content’ option checked) and also using ‘copy from page’ (with ‘copy’ chosen for the media module). In both cases the media module is recreated but all its settings are lost. (Text/html modules present on the source page are migrated correctly, retaining their content and configuration info).

Am I missing something here? Do only a sub-set of the modules work for page templates/ page copying?

Many thanks in advance

Jerry

Unfortunately, the current version of the Media Module does not include module settings when it exports or copies itself.  Perhaps this is something that could be in a future release.

Unfortunately, my hands are tied right now in terms of offering you a viable workaround.  Right now, you are limited to having to manually changing the settings when it's copied.
