For some reason, I can't get mpeg files to show in the Media module. I have added them to the included files list, in the host settings, and they show up in the list of files, on the server files page. IDK why they don't show up in the list, when I try to add them as a file to be played. If I change the name to AVI, it shows up, though... Any ideas?

Has nobody heard of this?

 Hi,

I found this a bit frustrating myself.

I made the files appear in the select list by adding their extensions into the "host settings" / other settings section, as this was suggested in other posts.

But the trick is the module only supports a few types..so you have to add these extensions and then use files of that type only.

>Valid File Types Include: jpg,jpeg,jpe,gif,bmp,png,swf,AVI,MPEG,MP3,ASF,ASX,WMA,WMV,WAV,MIDI,QT,MOV,RM,RAM,RPM

I was trying to load a mpg, a simple rename to mpeg did the trick :-)

This is a known issue and is fixed the upcoming release.
