Have two sites;  One was an upgrade to DNN 4.40 no issues noted.

The second site is a Fresh Install;  Image Display Problems (jpg)

After installing a fresh DNN 4.0.0 no JPG images will display.  I also notice some GIF images as distorted like did not de-compress all the way. I turned off compression, and new GIFS work but the JPEG files still do not.  Even ones I upload , any ideas ?

If you are refering to how to correct this, then yes. The problem lies in compression and whitespace filter.

Go to the host; Host Settings, then the advanced area. expand the Performance Settings;  Turn off compression "No Compression", Compression Level "None"  Use Whitespace Filter = NOT Checked.

This has worked for me and at least I have my images back.  Regards
