I moved a couple of link modules from one page to another and they disappeared.  The links are still in the database.  How do I make them reappear?

Can you give a bit more detail? Is it my understanding that you selected a links module, moved it to another page and when you got to that page it was not there? What version of DNN are you using? What version of Links? I have not seen this before and will need to try to recreate it to tell you how to get them back. If you can provide some screenshots of what you did to make sure I am doing same.

Sorry for the lack of information...

I am using DNN 4.5 and links module 03.03.07 running on SQL 2005.

You are correct.  I had an existing module (4 actually) and as they were getting larger, I decided to move them to their own page.  I went into the Module Settings-Page Settings-Advanced Settings-Move to Page.  I clicked the dropdown box and selected my page. (The page I moved them to is only visible by the admin at this point.)

The first two modules moved over fine.  The last two are gone from their old spot but did not appear in the new spot.  I looked in my database and the missings links (no pun intended) are there along with the unique module id number.

So what I'm needing to know is there a way to convince DNN to regenerate the modules or barring that, can I just change the module id to a module that is still visible?

Thanks.

Okay, I found my problem.  I had created two pages with the same name but one of them I had set to "hidden" and "disabled".  That is where the "missing" modules went.  Of course, I didn't figure this out until AFTER I manually changed the module ids for each and every link...

Lesson learned...

Thanks for your reply.
