Hi,

After upgrading to 05.01, I'm having problems with the link module (4.00.00). Links to web pages within the portal are doubling the domain name like so: http://www.domain.comhttp://www.domain.com/folder/page.aspx. When the link is clicked, the user gets a 404 resource can't be found error.

External and file links seem to be OK. Did I miss defining the root folder for the DNN installation somewhere? Any suggestions?

Thanks

I haven't noticed the behaviour yet, how are links stored in the database (table Links?)

Sorry Sebastian - if I'd known you were manning ALL of the forums I wouldn't have pulled a switch on you!

The URL's for internal pages are stored in the Links table as an integer which is the TabID (from the Tabs table) of the page. The DNN site navigation constructs the URL correctly (I assume it also uses the Tabs table), so the problem seems to be limited to the Links module.

Jerry, please review the Links module tracker @ support.dotnetnuke.com. If the issue is not listed already, please post it to the public tracker (2nd from top) and include your local path (parent or child portal, localhost?, URL rewrite mode).

Thank you.

links in the links module are generated using the core navigateurl and linkclick features. i would be very surprised if this was an issue of the links module
