Hi

Can we attach img to a link?

Ex: I want to download a pdf file if i click a link. Here i want to show a small pdf image in front of link to represents pdf type. Even i click the pdf image it should open.

If it is not inbuilt feature where i have to change in source code?

Thanks in advance.

this would be easier to do with the announcements module, or even the documents module

you might use documents module or create your own custom rendering using UserDefinedTable/form and List module.

Well good news on that one:

The latest version of the link module makes it possible to link files located in any folder of your portal. The file type icons apply automaticly depending on the file type in front of the hyperlink.

Check it out at:

Best,

Would you be so kind to please explain how to set this up so icons automatically appear?

I would like the associated icons to automatically appear next to Word Files, Acrobat files, Excel Files etc

Thank you
